Abstract
Abstract The study entitled “Effect of Different Concentrates Mixture on Feed Intake and Growth Performance of Heifer†was conducted for period of 90 day. Fifteen Heifers were divided into three groups on the nearness of the age and body weight. Three feeding treatment were studies namely T1 Dry fodder (Soybean straw) with green fodder (Hybrid Napier) + Readymade concentrate (Sugras) mixture-I as per requirement, T2 Dry fodder (Soybean straw) with green fodder (Hybrid Napier) and concentrate mixture-II as per requirement and T3 Dry fodder (Soybean straw) with green fodder (Hybrid Napier) + concentrate mixture-III as per requirement of heifer in all treatments. On an average the heifer consumed 6.57, 6.90 and 6.66 kg of feed per day under T1, T2 and T3. The average daily intake was 2.64, 2.63 and 2.62 kg/day/heifers in T1, T2 and T3 groups respectively.
