Abstract
The present investigation on “Effect of foliar application of nutrients on fruit and nut of cashew (Anacardium occidentale L.) genotypes under Hill zone of Karnataka†was undertaken at College of Horticulture, Mudigere during 2018-19. There was a significant difference in the number of fruits per panicle at various growth stages with respect to different treatments. The maximum number of nuts per panicle at peanut stage (27.80) was recorded in V2 (Kanaka) and minimum (20.20) in V4 (Ullal-2). Maximum number of nuts per panicle at the marble stage (15.50) was recorded in V2 (Kanaka) which was on par (15.10) with V3 (Vengurala-4). Whereas minimum (14.60) in V4 (Ullal-2). Significantly, highest fruit set percentage (34.53) was recorded in V2 (Kanaka). Whereas the lowest (26.91) in V4 (Ullal-2).
