Abstract
Soybean meal is used as the main protein source in the poultry diet as it contents the best quality protein. Soybean meal in combination with corngrain gives a higher growth rate and poultry production. Day by day poultry industry is growing faster than other livestock industry. This willleads to increase demand for Soybean meal for the manufacturing of poultry diets. Due to the increased demand for Soybean meal the price ofSoybean is increased that leads to an increase in the cost of poultry production and a reduction in the margin of profit in poultry production.Therefore, animal nutritionists are in search of a new protein source that will reduce the cost of poultry production without hampering theperformance.
