Abstract
An investigation was done to work out the Costs and Returns per hectare of Pearl Millet crop in different size farms group in Jaipur District ofRajasthan. Study reveals that variable capital utilization in Pearl millet cultivation among different farms size group. Cost of seed in homeproduction and purchased quantity was highest in small and medium size farms (Rs.600/ha) and lowest in marginal size of farms (Rs.550/ha).The cost of farm yard manure in home production and purchased quantity in marginal, small and medium size of farms group was Rs.l000/ha,Rs.800/ha and Rs.800/ha respectively. Total cost on nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium was same in all size of farms (Rs.1361/ha). The costof irrigation charges for hired and owned resources in marginal, small and medium size of farms groups were Rs.0/ha, Rs.300/ha and Rs.300/ha respectively.
