Abstract
The present study was conducted in Manchirial district of Telangana, from Out of total blocks of Manchirial district one block has been selectedpurposely on the basis having high total area, production of BT Cotton for current study. Farmers growing BT Cotton is collected from VillageAgriculture Assistant (VAA) and selected among them randomly. The farm respondents were classified in to five groups on the basis of areaunder BT Cotton cultivation in all the selected villages viz. marginal - having the cultivated area less than 1 ha, small - having the cultivatedarea 1 ha to 2 ha, semi-medium having 2 ha-4 ha, medium - having the cultivated area 4 ha-10 ha, and large - having the cultivated area 12 haand above. The study revealed that total cost incurred in cultivation of BT Cotton per hectare.
