Abstract
The study of attitude of farmers of Kamareddy district towards hybrid maize focuses on the three major components of attitude which arecognitive, conative and behavioral aspects, where a total of 100 farmers were interviewed in order to understand the same. These as a wholeinfluence all the activities associated with the purchase, use and disposal of goods and services, i.e., hybrid maize seeds in this case. From thestudy, it was found that the farmers of Kamareddy district of Telangana state have a positive attitude towards hybrid maize and their decisionsare based the benefits of the same such as higher yield and far income. To further improve the same, emphasis must be given on highlightingthe good agricultural practices for hybrid maize cultivation in order to achieve higher yields. Also, strengthening of the market access andlinkages in order to ensure better price realization which ultimately result in improving the farm income.
