Abstract
Field experiment was conducted at the Stilting Village, Harur Taluk, Dharmapuri District, Tamilnadu during March - June, 2018 to studythe effect of foliar nutrition on performance of blackgram under irrigated condition. The blackgram were subjected to foliar spray of organicand inorganic nutrients with plant growth regulators. The experiment outcomes were revealed that the growth and yield parameters viz.,plant height, number of branches plant-1, LAI, number of effective root nodules plant-1, dry matter production, number of pods plant-1, podlength and number of seeds pod-1of blackgram were favorably influenced by treatment of RDF + foliar application of 2% DAP + 40 ppmNAA+ 0.5% chelated micronutrient at 30 and 45 DAS (T11).
