Abstract
A field trial on management of aphids, Aphis gossypii G. and leafhoppers, Amrasca biguttulla biguttulla I. in Bt cotton by using ITKcomponents was conducted during kharif season of 2018-19 at research farm of Department of Agricultural Entomology, Dr. PDKV, Akola.The experiment was laid in randomized block design with seven treatments, replicated thrice. The cumulative effect of different treatmentsinferred that the sprays of NSE 5% proved effective in minimizing the number of aphids (5.92 aphids/leaf) and leafhoppers (1.01/leaf) asagainst untreated control (13.94 aphids & 2.28 leafhoppers /leaf). However, it was statistically at par with Agniashtra 3%, GCKE 5%,Dashparni extract 15%, and Panchparni extract 10%. Moreover, the application of NSE 5% was found most promising treatment inincreasing seed cotton yield (11.20 q/ha).
