Abstract
This particular topic was selected to access trends in arrivals and prices of major oilseed crops in one of the major Market of the Maharashtra state. The monthly Time series data of two major oilseed crop of Latur, APMC Market viz. Soybean and Safflower were collected from official records for last Twenty-two years i.e. 1999-2000 to 2020-2021. The data was cleaned and missing data were estimated with the help of basic statistical tools i.e. Average. The data were analyzed with the help of seasonal indices (Ratio to moving average method) were worked out. The Result revealed that, the arrivals and prices of soybean and safflower in Latur APMC, Market has exhibited increasing trend during a study period. The peak arrival of soybean was observed during the month of October to December and slack arrivals months were January to September.
