Abstract
Paddy is one of the most important crops for food security in India, contributing significantly towards providing food and livelihood for 130 million people. The area under paddy cultivation in India is around 44 million ha with production of 105 million tons in 2019. The paddy combine harvesters are popular in the Punjab and Haryana states. In some region tractor mounted combine harvesters are also popular. These machines require bigger fields on plane land. In East Vidarbha Zone, paddy fields are very small with heighted compartment bunds of average size of 30 m x 20 m. Hence regarding, this study the in-field performance of combine harvester for mini combine harvester for fine paddy variety (pkv-tilak) as an experiment was conducted in at field of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, SonapurGadchiroli.
