Abstract
A field experiment was conducted at Soil and Water management Research farm, NAU, Navsari for three years (2017-18, 2018-19 and 2019- 20) to evaluate the response drip discharge rates, fertigation levels and lateral placement on cabbage (Brassica oleracea L) yield during rabi season. The experiment was laid in split plot design with treatments in main plot comprising of two inline dripper discharge rates, D1: 2 lph and D2: 4 lph and fertilizer levels F1: 60, F2: 80 and F3: 100 per cent of recommended dose of N (100 kg/ha) and K (50 kg/ha), while full dose of P fertilizer (50 kg P2O5) was applied as basal in soil at the time of sowing just below the seed. The subplot treatments included were lateral placement (P1: surface and P2: subsurface 10 cm below ground level). Growth parameters and yield of cabbage head was determined at harvest. Soil moisture at 0, 10 and 15 cm away from plant and 0, 15 and 30 cm away from dripper was determine...
