Abstract
In this study, impact analysis of university released cashew varieties was analyzed and quantified using Partial budgeting approach. For thispurpose varieties released by the Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, Dapoli. has been considered. The per hectare total additionalcost (direct + indirect) of university released Vengurla-4 and Vengurla-7 over other local varieties was observed to be Rs. 37377.8 and Rs.37851.66 respectively. And per hectare added returns due to university released varieties over other local varieties was Rs. 63316.44 for Vengurla4 and Rs. 66168.64 for Vengurla-7. Thus, the total economic worthiness of these university released Varieties over other local varieties of cashewin the region was Rs. 25939.06 per hectare and Rs. 28317.18 per hectare for the year 2020-21.
