Abstract
Nutritional status of adolescents of developing countries like India is poorer as compared to developed countries. During this period, properdietary habits and correct nutritional knowledge is very important for their proper physical, mental, cognitive and growth development. Wecan say that adolescence is the most important period of the life cycle which gives second chance to the children to improve their health andalso catch up their growth who had poor nutritional status in early life. The study was carried out on 100 subjects belonging to 15-19 yearsage group randomly selected from Harpur Panchayat in Pusa, Samastipur, Bihar (India). Subjects were classified into three socio-economicgroups i.e. upper class, middle class and lower class.
