Abstract
Field experiment was carried out during Kharif 2017-18 at the Instructional farm of JNKVV-College of Agriculture Rewa (M.P) studies include the activity of Girdle beetle {Obereopsis brevis (Swed.); Coleoptera: Cerambycidae} in the soybean crop was recorded from July to October 2017. The maximum girdle beetle population (4.10 rings/mrl) was observed in the 3rd week of August 2017 and thereafter fall in population was recorded. The pest showed a negative correlation with the minimum temperature and minimum relative humidity & rainfall but had a positive correlation with maximum temperature and maximum relative humidity. The activity of White fly {Bemisia tabaci (Gennadius); Hemiptera: Aleyrodidae} in soybean crop was recorded from July to October 2017. The maximum white fly population (13.40 N&A /plant) was observed in the 3rd week of August 2017 and thereafter fall in population count was noted. The pest showed a negative correlation w...
