Abstract
The study focused on the efficacy of priming treatments on performance of kodo millet in field conditions. The priming treatments includePseudomonas fluorescens 20 %, KH2PO4 2 %, hydropriming and nonprimed seeds. The field study revealed that Pseudomonas fluorescens 20% primed seeds performed well by recording higher growth parameters such as field emergence %, plant height, chlorophyll content, netassimilation rate, dry matter efficiency, earliness in days to booting, days to first flowering and days to 50 per cent flowering, higher yieldattributing parameters like panicle weight plant-1, panicle to seed recovery %, seed yield plant-1, seed yield plot-1 and 1000 seed weightcompared to other treatments.
