Abstract
The present investigation was conducted to estimate genetic parameters such as genotypic coefficient of variation (GCV), phenotypiccoefficient of variation (PCV), heritability, genetic advance (GA) and genetic advance as percent of mean (GAM) from data collected onthree F2 segregation populations of three crosses (i.e. NI-05-09 x NI-13-465, NI-13-465 x NI-08-203 and NI-05-19 x NI-08-225) in Indianbean. The segregating F2 generations exhibited higher to moderate values of GCV and PCV for pod yield per plant, plant height at firstpicking and pods per plant indicating that there is a scope for improvement by applying selection on these characters in desirable direction.High heritability have been observed for days of first flowering, protein content and fibre content in cross NI-05-19
