Abstract
The experiment on Survey for elite type mango (Mangifera indica L.) in Parbhani district was carried out during summer season in year2019-20. A survey was conducted to collect, characterize and document the unique mango grown by the farmers of this village. Assessmentof diversity has traditionally been achieved through morphological characters. IPGRI descriptors are an important means for thestandardization worldwide and provide an easy and rapid way to discriminate between mango genotypes. Descriptors were developed ofmango genotypes after surveying the 30 varieties. Among the genotypes studied, which consist of 29 qualitative characters. Amongst thecharacters, three for inflorescence and eight for mature fruit characters, nine for ripe fruit characters, eight for leaf characters and one forstone characters have been used.
