Abstract
Extent of adoption and determinants of mechanization in rice cultivation in Khammam district of Telangana state, study examined the extentof adoption of farm mechanization and determinants of adoption in Khammam district of Telangana. In total district 120 farmers areselected as sample size. Two mandals, Kalluru mandal and Nelakondapally mandal has been selected. The data was collected by personalinterview method. Farmers were categorized into low, medium and high adoption farmers based on mechanization index. The resultsindicate that 33.34 per cent, 36.67 per cent and 30.00 per cent of respondents belonged to low, medium and high adoption categories of farmmechanization in rice cultivation, respectively.
