Abstract
The study was conducted to determine the constraints faced by the farmers in commercial cultivation of vegetables and to explorerelationship between the selected characteristics of the farmers and constraints faced by them. Data were collected through personalinterview from 160 randomly selected respondents. The present paper attempts to examine the constraints faced of vegetable farmers ofMeerut and Sharanapur district of Western Uttar Pradesh. The study was conducted in sixteen villages located at Kharkhauda, Daurala andNangal, Deoband block of Meerut and Sharanapur districts, at supervision of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture andTechnology, Meerut.
