Abstract
The present study was conducted purposively in Nanded and Parbhani districts of the Marathwada region of Maharashtra state during theyear 2019-20 in jurisdiction of Mahila Arthic Vikas Mahamandal Organization (MAVIM) and District Rural Development Agency (DRDA)in Marathwada region of Maharashtra state as significant work done by both MAVIM and DRDA in the formation of Self Help Groups(SHGs). The main aim is to ascertain the association of profile of SHGs members with socio-economic impact of microfinance on the SHGsmembers. The following independent variables were selected for the study viz, age, education, family type, caste, annual income, occupation,land holding, experience in SHGs enterprise, information seeking behaviour, institutional training received, source of motivation and socioeconomic impact of microfinance on the members of self help groups in Marathwada region of Maharashtra State was considered asdependent variable fro...
