Abstract
Betel vine plays an important role as narcotic crops. Betel leaf (Piper betel L.) is cultivated all over India as a cash crop. The contribution ofthe production of betel vine to the economy of Bihar is remarkable. In Bihar, the two most common varieties of betel vine are grown. Theseare Magahi and Deshi. The research study was conducted in the Nawada district of Bihar. Total ninety betel vine growers were randomlyselected from six villages from Pakaribarwan and Hisua block. The collected data were analyzed through the IBM SPSS. Statistical toolsthose are used in this study-percent, frequency, mean standard deviation, correlation coefficient and rank. This result shows that themajority (78.88%) of growers had medium level knowledge with respect to the recommended technologies of betel leaf cultivation. As moretraining on advanced methods of betel vine cultivation may be conducted to the growers
