Abstract
The present investigation was carried out among randomly selected 100 carpenters from Parbhani city. Information was collected byconducting personal interview with the help of scheduled questionnaire. The time spent on each of the carpentry task was noted byrespondents through recall method. Exertion experienced by selected carpenters while performing different carpentry tasks was noted downon 3 point scale and comfort level of the selected carpenters while using different carpentry tools was recorded on 5 point scale .Statisticalanalysis was carried out by applying Correlation coefficient test and Analysis of variance. Findings indicated that cutting with hand toolswas expressed as heavily exerting task (98%) followed by fitting task (55%) by majority of the selected carpenters.
