Abstract
Arrivals and price behavior at the APMC markets of Hingoli and Kalamnuri were studied during the years 2001-2020; the study wasconducted to evaluate price index variations for major food grains i.e. wheat and soybean crops. The monthly arrivals and Prices data weretaken from APMC's Hingoli for a twenty year period (2001-02 to 2019-20). Trend in arrivals and prices of wheat crops were calculated byusing exponential form of equation and moving average method used for measuring seasonal fluctuations. The result revealed that MarketMovement in Arrivals and Prices of Major food grains in both Hingoli and Kalamnuri Market, price growth has been positive andsignificant throughout the time. The highest seasonal indices of arrivals found in month of October in Hingoli market and the lowestseasonal indices of arrivals found in March Kalamnuri market.
