Abstract
The present investigation entitled Studies on effect of time and level of pruning on yield and quality of custard apple (Annona squamosa L.)Cv. Balanaga,r was conducted on well established custard apple orchard of eleven year old at Custard Apple Research Station, Ambajogai.during 2020-21. The experiment was conducted to study the effect of different time and level of pruning on yield and quality of custard apple.The experiment was carried out on factorial randomized block design with two factors first factor was time of pruning with five date ofpruning T1-15thFeb, T2- 1st March, T3- 15thMarch, T4-1stApril, T5-15thApril and second factor was level of pruning Viz. 10 cm, 15 cm, 20 cm,25 cm, Control, treatment were applied as per the plan and observation on quality attributes were recorded.As regard quality charactermaximum TSS (20.54), reducing sugar (15.25), nonreducingsugar (1.73), total sugar (16.99) and minimum acidity (0.14) was r...
