Abstract
Youth are the power to the country. They can change the future of the nation with their well being and audacious behavior. This study wasmeted out to assess the attitude of rural youth towards farming. They become a valuable means of changing conventional village attitudesand in fabricate the climate for early and extensive reception of new methods and practices in agriculture. Information on socio personaland psychological individuality was composed through face to face interviews and surveillance using a pretested survey. A five point scaledeveloped by Mathew and Reddy (1989) was used in the study. The study exposed that 54.38 % of rural youth had moderately favourableattitude towards farming. Attitude of rural youth had momentous and positive correlation with their participation in farming as well as indecision making.
