Abstract
The present study was undertaken to estimate the value of genetic components viz: correlation, heritability and genetic advance to know thegenetic nature ( Magnitude and direction) of yield attributing traits in soybean by using five generation(P1, P2, F1, F2, and F3 ) of fourcrosses viz; JS335 x SDP10, JS335 x SDP18, JS335 x SDP30 and JS335 x SDP36 during Summer 2019.The obtained results showed thatestimated value of genotypic correlation coefficients were recorded higher than the respective phenotypic correlation coefficients (GCV) tothe association in all of the yield traits. It represents less influence of environment on the expression of the yield contributing characters. Theseed yield per plant showed significant positive genotypic correlation in desirable direction for association with number of pod/cluster,number of pod/plant, 100 seed weight, plant height and days to flowering.
