Abstract
The present study was carried out in Bangalore Urban district of Karnataka state during 2020-21 to assess the knowledge of rose cut flowergrowers regarding the recommended cultivation practices. Sixty rose cut flower growers were interviewed using a pre tested interviewschedule. Ex post facto research design was employed in the present study. It was found that a majority of rose cut flower growers exhibitedhigh overall knowledge about recommended rose cut flower cultivation practices (53.34 %), whereas one-fourth (25.00%) and 21.66 percent of the rose cut flower growers had medium and low overall knowledge about recommended rose cultivation practices, respectively.Education, land holding, annual income, cosmopoliteness, mass media participation, extension agency contact and extension participationof rose cut flower growers were found significantly contributing to the knowledge regarding the recommended cultivation practices.
