Abstract
This paper was aimed to study the impact of Dairy Co-operative societies (DCS) on income distribution pattern of the member households.For this the study was made a comparative between the members and non-members to see the effect of DCS. The research was carried out inZone-I of Karnataka. The sample size was 120, of which 60 members and 60 non-members. The Gini- coefficient Ratio was employed for theanalysis which most commonly used method to measure the income inequalities. A stronger Lorenz curve method shows that less than 1.67per cent of the members? only share 1.60 per cent of their income, and 14.70 per cent of their income are the top 3.33 per cent. The low 6.67per cent of the community of non-components, on the other hand, represented 2.04 per cent of revenues, and the highest 1.67 per centaccounted for 20.69 per cent.
