Abstract
Conservation agriculture is a way for sustainable production system under present intensive cropping system. The survey was conductedduring rabi season 2019, comprising 100 randomly selected farmers on two RCTs in Punjab, India to understand the status and economicbenefits of RCTs, ease of access and complexity of technology, recommended practices (POP) followed and reasons for the non-adoption ofrecommended practices. It was observed that zero till drill was practised since the year 2004 while laser leveller was adopted since the year2006 by surveyed farmers. Fellow farmers, friends and state agricultural university were the major source of information regarding theseRCTs. Majority of the respondents used laser leveller in their field on rent basis.
