Abstract
Renewable sources of energy are freely available and virtually inexhaustible. This types of energy available everywhere and to everyone,unlike other sources. A solar photovoltaic water pumping system was used for water lifting at Renewable Energy Park C.A.E &T, M.K.V.,Parbhani. The photovoltaic array, which is used for the running of 1.5 hp submersible pump. The various observations such as Variation ofdischarge according to insulation, Variation of insulation according to time, current Variation according to time and voltage Variationaccording to time was studied. Maximum discharge measured at 12.30 Afternoon is 2.1 lps at the insulation rate of 118 mw/cm2 and minimumdischarge at morning 1.53 lit/sec at insulation of 76 mw/cm2. The water lifted from the pump was supplied to the Drip irrigation unit forirrigating different crops like were Cotton, Sapota, Mango, Sugarcane and Banana.
