Abstract
Adolescents face varied challenges associated with psychological well being that interferes with daily activity. To know the psychologicalcounselling needs of adolescents the study was conducted on 200 adolescents of rural and urban area of Ludhiana district. Adolescents wereequally distributed over both genders. (100 males and 100 females).Study used Psychological counselling needs scale by Chouhan & Arora,2009 was used. Data was analysed using t test and found that rural adolescents needs more psychological counselling with a significantdifference and no significant difference was found between males and females adolescents. To improve the psychological well being andbetter mental health Psychological counselling of adolescents is an imperative need of today
