Abstract
A field study was conducted to evaluate the growth and yield parameters of Gaillardia pulchella Foug. cultivars as influenced by differentplanting times during September 2018 to June 2019 at Floricultural Research Station, Hyderabad. The treatments comprised of differentplanting times (1st week of October to 1st week of February) in two gaillardia double cultivars (Local yellow and Local Red with yellow tip)with three replications. The results revealed significant variations among different planting times at 60, 90 and 120 days after transplanting.In growth, maximum plant height, number of leaves per plant and number of branches per plant was found in 1st week of January planting.Similar results were reflected in yield parameters like days to 50 percent flowering, flower yield per plant and flower yield per hectare.
