Abstract
The respective soil samples (75) were collected from Deoli tahsil of Wardha district by systematic survey. The soil samples were slightly tomoderately alkaline in pH, with low to medium organic carbon content. The free CaCO3 content in soils ranged from moderately calcareousto calcareous in nature. The average available major nutrient content i.e NPK kg ha-1 was low to medium in range. All the micronutrientshowing that these soils are well supplied with Cu, Mn and Fe and low to marginal in Zn and B.
