Abstract
The study was conducted in Nagpur district of Maharashtra state. The Agricultural Assistants working in the State Department of Agricultureare the grass root functionaries engaged in technology transfer process. Exploratory design of social research was used for the presentresearch endeavour and one hundred Agricultural Assistants (AAs), had been selected as respondents by using random sampling methodfrom seven taluka of the Nagpur district. The study was planned with the prime objective to study the communication behaviour of theagricultural assistants as well as to identify the problems faced by the agricultural assistants in the communication.
