Abstract
The present study was aimed to improve the growth and yield of fodder cowpea(Vigna unguiculata L.) under integrated nutrientmanagement. The experiment was conducted at the college Farm, N. M. College of Agriculture, Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari(Gujarat) on heavy black soil during the summer season of 2016.The result revealed that plant height, dry matter production, leaf : stem ratio, green fodder yield and dry matter yield was found significantly highest with application of vermicompost @ 2 t/ha. Data indicated that daysto 50 % flowering plant was significantly lowest with treatment O2 vermicompost @ 2 t/ha. Economic evaluation to different organic manuresrevealed that maximum net returns obtained with an application vermicompost @ 2 t/ha.Application of 100 % RDF was found significantlyhigher in case of plant height of fodder cowpea and which remain at par with 75 % RDF. Growth attributing character like days to 50%flowering...
