Abstract
A study was carried out in Jagatsinghpur district of Odisha with 120 sample sizes of farmers selected with multistage random sampling. Thestudy revealed that social participation, education, media exposure, holding size, occupation, possession of farm power and annual incomewith correlation value 0.269, 0.123, 0.369, 0.192, 0.392, 0.514 and 0.500 respectively were able to influence the knowledge level of therespondents. Education, family type, family size, social participation, cosmopoliteness, media exposure, housing pattern, holding size,occupation, possession of farm power and annual income with a correlation value of 0.282, 0.356, 0.360, 0.390, 0.536, 0.598, 0.487, 0.434,0.417, 0.658 and 0.601 respectively were exhibiting significant influence on the adoption level of the respondents, which may be taken intoaccount by KVK while organizing training programmes.
