Abstract
The present studies were aimed to supplementation of subabul seeds on growth performance of cow heifers. The 20 heifers between 12 to 21 months of age were divided equally into four groups. The feeding treatments were T1 (Control) soybean straw (ad lib.) + 5kg Green fodder + 100% concentrate mixture, T2 soybean straw (ad lib.) + 5kg Green fodder + 90% concentrate mixture + 10% Subabul seed, T3 soybean straw (ad.lib.) + 5kg Green fodder + 80% concentrate mixture + 20% Subabul seed, T4 soybean straw (ad.lib.) + 5kg Green fodder + 70% concentrate mixture + 30% Subabul seed were fed to heifers. The experiment was laid out in randomized complete block design with five replications at Department of Animal Husbandry And Dairy Science, Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, Akola.
