Abstract
Millets are climate resilient crops. They can come up well even under arid zones. The Government has taken several measures to demonstrate to farmers the value of millets. There are certain impediments which slow up the adoption of millets by farmers. The use of millets can only be increased if the limitations are eradicated. The constraints were ranked by Henry Garrett ranking technique. The major constraints are poor quality of inputs, lack of credit facilities, non-availability of recommended seed varieties.
