Abstract
The present research programme, The effect of plant growth regulators and micronutrient on growth and growth regulators and micronutrients on growth and fruit setting, fruit retension and yield of tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.) hy. Phule Raja was carried out at Tomato Improvement Project, Department of Horticulture, MPKV, Rahuri during summer, 2017 comprising with of different plant regulators viz., Auxin, Gibberllins, Cytokinin, 4CPA etc and micronutrient like Zinc, Calcium, Boron and Iron etc. The chemicals were sprayed at 30, 45,60 and 75 days after transplanting. The results are indicated that the treatment T9 with GA3 50 ppm + CaCl2 0.3% concentration gave maximum plant height (111.0 cm) and fruit weight (54.30g) in tomato. While the treatment T10 (NAA 50 ppm + Boric acid 0.2 %) recorded the maximum number of fruits per cluster (5.28), Fruit set (70.20%), fruit retention% (64.38%), number of fruits per plant (26.50), yield kg p...
