Abstract
A field experiment was conducted at Regional Sugarcane and Rice Research Station, Rudrur to study the Evaluation of different irrigation methods for water saving and enhancing the productivity and profitability in different rice establishments methods. The tallest plant (107.00cm) was found in mechanical transplanting of rice seedlings and also recorded significantly highest no. of effective tillers per hill (22.22), no. of panicle per m2 (376.66) and 1000 grain weight (23.42 g) when compared to drum seeder planting and was at par with conventional method of transplanting.
