Abstract
The development of grain mold resistance hybrids is one of strategy to mitigate grain mold disease. Utilization of host plant resistance is the best strategy in the management of grain mold disease. In order to identify new grain mold resistant sources, a national level National Grain Mold Nursery (NGN) was initiated. The genotypes AKGMR 117 and AKGMR 118 recorded promising performance for grain mold resistance. These two genotypes need to used as the sources of grain mold resistance in breeding programme.
