Abstract
An investigation was carried out during the kharif, 2016 at Agricultural College, Jagtial to evaluate the influence of natural farming on maize nutrient uptake, physico-chemical and chemical properties of soil in comparison with inorganic and organic farming. The results were found that N and P uptake of maize crop was not different between DHM 117 or Aswini but K uptake in DHM 117 (64.89 kg ha-1 ) was significantly higher compared to Aswini (56.51 kg ha-1 ). The uptake of NPK was also influenced by farming method. Highest NPK uptake was recorded with inorganic farming method (61.37 N, 17.57 P2O5 and 79.91 K2O kg ha-1 ).The physico-chemical properties like pH, EC, OC and chemical properties like available NPK and Zn status of the soil did not change due to the cultivation of DHM 117 or Aswini. Farming method could not influence pH and EC but left different organic carbon contents after maize crop. Significantly higher organic carbon c...
