Abstract
This work was done to estimate the level of Azolla incorporation in the commercial poultry diet. The experiment was conducted in the dept. of Livestock Production Management, F/O- Veterinary & Animal Sciences, WBUAFS, Kolkata for 42 days in 1200 day-old Vencobb-400 broiler chickspurchased from a commercial hatchery. The chicks were allocated to six groups having 200 birds in each group. In each group (having four replicates) birds had similar average body weight. Dried Azolla was supplemented both in the starter and finisher diets at varying levels with the replacement of total ration that is 0, 5, 7.5, 10, 12.5 and 15% ration with dried Azolla for the C1 (control), T1, T2, T3, T4 and T5 respectively. Significant (p0.05) result noted but numerical difference was observed.
