Abstract
A field research was conducted to study the effect of spacing and intercropping of amaranthus, radish, palak, mustard and coriander on sweet corn. Trial was conducted in split plot design with three spacing and five intercrops. The parameters assessed were flowering and yield characters of sweet corn. The result showed that interaction effects of spacing and intercropping had non-significant effect on days to tasselling, days to silking, nodal position of male flower and first female flower. However, the different interaction treatments were applied under study had significant effect on the yield parameters of sweet corn except number of cobs per plant and per plot. The minimum days required for tasseling (50.75) and silking (55.40) was recorded in S3V5.
