Abstract
The aim of this study is to investigate the factors in the formation of the sense of form while addressing the stages in the life of painter Orhan Peker. Another aim of the study is to identify the roots of the idea of plastic with the sense of form that matured in the Bedri Rahmi Atelier during the academy years and embody the effects of the relationship he established with Western painting on his painting. In this study, qualitative research was used as a methodology. By reviewing the literature, exhibition documents, catalog texts, magazine articles, printed resources created for works in collections, and documents in digital media organized on behalf of Orhan Peker were examined. In addition, the partial access to various diaries, drawings, sketches and notebook notes produced by the artist during his travels abroad contributed to the scope of the research.
