Abstract
The article contains a systematized set of constructive-geographical researches in studying, analysis and estimation of regime-forming factors of rainwater flows. What is more, all processes of formation of rain flows in nature and serious changes made by human in various physicalgeographical conditions of the upper and middle Dnipro lands are highlighted. A new method of calculating the maximum rain runoff has been developed and presented, which takes into account all the main factors influencing the process of its formation, increases the accuracy of the estimated value of flood costs, improves the environment and living conditions and helps to solve current issues of anthropogenic impact on the environment
