Abstract
The article deals with the problem of accepting the game culture as a basic feature of the new pedagogical culture and its importance for the professional preparation of the future teachers. A short review of the educational documents based on the issue is done. The use of the educational theater as a methodological device in Bulgarian language and literature education is important for the professional training of future teachers in the formation of cultural competences. That is why it is necessary to create teaching techniques that are tailored to the needs of both pedagogical and theatrical interaction.
