Abstract
A good oral health care is directly related to the generalhealth of the entire body. The dental diseases are mostcommon and widespread diseases around the world.But it is challenging for developing countries. One of themost common prevailing conditions is dental caries. Itis progressive and cumulative in nature and becomesmore complex with the advancing age. It can affectchildren’s quality of life.1 The low socioeconomic statusfactor in developing countries affects dental caries morethan the developed countries.2 The oral health status isobserved differently in different social classes as well asin gender and the educational level of the parents.3 Theprevalence of dental caries among school going childrenof different social class showed higher predilection ofdental caries in government school children thanprivate.
