Abstract
The constitutional reform of 1994 meant the constitutionalization of a set of international treaties and declarations of human rights, and the consequent obligation of the State to respect those rights, adopt positive action measures for their fulfillment and international responsibility for the violation of rights not repaired. One of the fundamental changes brought about by this reform was the hierarchy of the entire inter-american system that the American Convention on Human Rights organizes through its protective organs: the Commission and the Inter-American Court of Human Rights. In such way, the Argentine courts have a double normative source to carry out their judicial interpretations, having to match the national jurisprudence with the international one emanated from these organs.
