Abstract
The article inquiresaboutonline shaming against presumptive criminals, and its possible taggingas a newvariant of punishment. Subsequently,the paperanalyses its implications in the light of the Theories of Punishment and the constitutional rightsinvolved. Finally, the author proposes a solutionwithin the same digital structure, that mediates with the greatest possible respect and equidistance between the constitutional principles of freedom of speech, right of defence, and presumption of innocence.
